I can be short, there is no Faroese story. Back in December 2019 I picked up a Faroese textbook and started learning it, but there is simply nothing to practice, nothing to listen to, no one to speak to. The 1 italki teacher decided to quit and I was left to my own devices.
You know me, I hung in there, I really did, but in the end, I had to stop. It felt like I put in a lot of effort without knowing if what I learned, was correct at all. I swapped it for Icelandic, you can read the story elsewhere on this blog, but I am determined to one day study Faroese again.
